Federico Panciera

CNRS Researcher (CRCN)

Federico PANCIERA is a Research Scientist. After his PhD he obtained a post-doctoral position at the University of Cambridge and then at the National University of Singapore. At the same time he was a regular Visitor Scientist at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in New York.

His research interests are focused on fundamental and applied aspects of semiconductor physics and materials science, at the nanoscale. He is currently investigating the growth mechanisms of III-V nanowires in order to unlock the potential of these nanomaterials for applications in optoelectronic, telecommunication, renewable energy, nanoelectronics, quantum computing and communication. He currently serves as the local contact for the NanoMAX microscope through the METSA network.
