Chia-Yi WU

Visiting Scientist

Chia-Yi Wu is a postdoctoral researcher at National Taiwan University and is currently visiting the Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies (C2N). She earned dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Electronic Engineering from National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. She then obtained her PhD in Electrophysics from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. Her research focused on the growth of semiconductor nanostructures and their characterization using microscopy techniques, including scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) and electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS). She has been a visiting scholar at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center and an intern at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Her current research focuses on investigating the dynamics of 2D material growth by MBE using in situ TEM.
